Halloween was marked for Perth City’s second club night. With the weather enough to confuse everyone it was thought that some may stay home.
What a mistake!!
It seemed all of Perth City’s Development swimmers came to a very scary Halloween.
The club had 60 swimmers – members and visitors compete in a reduced event schedule. The enthusiasm was at its best with cheers and support from all.
With the race night focus being:
Swim frightenly fast with some scary speed.
After the races the swimmers were transformed into witches, vampires, ghosts, goblins and some evil devils. The Halloween parade was again a highlight to see the effort and enjoyment the swimmers had.
Thank you to the volunteer parents for the sausage sizzle, timekeeping, costumes and support.
The night was also very special with the official announcement of the swim-a-thon final total and prizes of recognition. Of the 24 Perth City members that participated in the club swim-a-thon a total of $3953.00 was raised. The effort and response was overwhelming.
The club committee would like to thank you for such a magnificant effort.
Special awards were received by:
